Thanks for logging on and I welcome you to our web site. Here at TEAM ASCENT we offer a customised private mountain guiding and instructional service on a world wide basis.
Our principal guiding activities are with Sandy Allan who qualified as an international mountain guide in the early 90's. Thanks to lots of repeat business, great customers and our exciting adventures, demand for our guiding and instructional service has increased, and now we have a number of excellent world class mountain guides working with us. All our guides are UIAGM/IFMGA qualified. Many are members of the Association of British Mountain Guides, some French, Swiss, Canadian, and from New Zeland. One or two American guides have also guided with us. This all adds up to a very experienced team of guides and we endeavour to provide a safe, professional and quality service.
On this web site, under our courses you will find a number of fixed date course and adventures. However, you should note that a huge part of our mountaineering is private guiding for individuals and groups, so please feel free to propose your own ideas and adventures and we will try our best to meet your needs. In addition to taking people into wild places we also offer safety support services to the film industry. We are actively involved in other consultancy roles such as "work at height " in exposed remote industrial work and rescue situations. In addition to this Sandy is an individual member of the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) and is a registered independant assessor to IRATA .
