Alpine walking
Our Alpine walking holidays will be based mainly around the French and Swiss Alps. All our walks are led by qualified International Mountain Leaders who will share with you their knowledge and stories on the Alps including history, flora and fauna.
This summer we are running a 4 to 5 day hut walk around the Dents Du Midi range (Tour Des Dents Du Midi). This trek is in Switzerland and over looks the Rhone valley. The Dents du Midi mountain range is a group of seven summits forming the most westerly mountian group in Switzerland and is a very impressive limestone massif. The walk will provide you with spectacular views, terrain is varied but without being too technical or arduous. We will walk through classic alpine meadows with the possible ascent of the highest of the Dents du Midi, the Haute Cime (3257m). This trip will be run from Chamonix valley, a spare day is added onto the end of the trip for flexability incase we decide to stay an extra night in a hut, otherwise we can spend the last day walking in the Chamonix valley.
