Everest Base Camp and climb Labouche Peak :
We have organised this outstanding trek with the added option to climb Labouche peak (6584m).This is an outstanding trekking peak situated right in the heart of the Khumbu. From Kathmandu this 21 day trek starts in Kathmandu with a guided city tour, then an internal flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and a wonderful trek to Namche and on to Everest Base Camp. An ascent of Kalapathar (5544m) is included, which gives amazing views of Everest and the South Col and many other major summits and ridges which surround the Kumbu glacier. Descending from there we go to Labouche base camp and climb Labouche Peak (6584m).
This trip with it's carefully planned acclimatisation programme offers an outstanding opportunity for beginner climbers and adventerous trekkers to get right into the heart of the Khumbu, enjoy the ultimate trek and climb a wonderful summit. Trainning on fixed ropes will be given so it's an excellent introductuon to high altitude mountaineering.
You will be accompanied by our IFMGA guide and climbing sherpas and other members of our Ama Dablam expedition. After the Labouche climb you can return to Lukla with some of our staff and then fly back to Kathmndu. The Ama Dablam climbers will continue on their way to Ama Dabalm where they will attempt this outstanding summit.
