Ice Climbing Chamonix/Cogne/La Grave
Our icefall climbing is mainly run from our Chamonix base. Although we are completley flexible. Our main European base is from Chamonix, France and also guide a lot in La Grave and Coigne and often climb in all three areas in the sapce of a week.If you wish we can fit in some off piste ski runs with coaching as well... so there is lots of flexibility. We run courses for beginners, intermediate climbers and we coach at all levels.
Chamonix's location gives fantastic route choice, with Italy and Switzerland very close by. The guide with a vehicle and up two clients travel to different venues where there are a number of icefalls to climb ensure best use of the best ice, weather and snow stability at the time. We also guide in La Grave where we either travel there from Chamonix or we meet you at Grenoble or Lyon airports or valley base.The guide will customise the climbing to suit the clients wishes and objectives. The oppurtunity to use state of the art ice climbing tools and crampons is avaiable.The guide to client ratio tends to be 1 guide to 2 clients so we have maximum flexibility. But for many of the advance a 1:1 climbe to guide ratio is best. From the UK fly to Geneva, then transfer services are available to transport you to Chamonix. It's also possible to fly to Lyon and Grenoble if you are climbing in La Grave and surrounding areas. Please feel free to conatct us for any dates you wish. You will note that we do advertise fixed dates however over the years we are finding that its best if YOU contat us with your prefered dates and we will then customise everything else to suit you... it works, its flexible, you can come for a shorter duration or stay longer. We do our best to give you a great climbing experience.

Guide fees,ropes and climbing lead rack included in price .Note overnight hotels/gites, feeding and cable cars are not included although we can assist in helping you arrange it. Many bunk house, gites and hotels available at competitive prices.
Price:
Private guiding price from £280.00 per day. Guiding Ratio 1:2. so £140.00 per person. If you are beginners and have larger groups we may be able to work with higher ratios and the price will be lower.
We supply state of the art ice climbing tools and crampons and all lead racks and ropes.
