Ice Climbing Chamonix/Arolla/Cogne
Our icefall climbing is mainly run from our Chamonix base. We are completley flexible however our guides live mainly in Chamonix so this helps to minimise overnight expenses... However our guides are excited to guide you anywhere as long as you realise that this has an overnight cost and transport implication., its not difficult though and its how most of the Team Ascent Mountain guides live their winters!
Chamonix's location gives fantastic route choice, with Italy and Switzerland very close by. The guide with a vehicle and up to two clients travel to different venues where there are a number of icefalls to climb ensure best use of the best ice and weather at the time..We also guide in La Grave where we either travel there from Chamonix or we meet you at Grenoble or Lyon .The guide will customise the climbing to suit the clients wishes and objectives. Modern technical ice climbing equipment will be included in the course price. The guide to client ratio is 1 guide to 2 clients so we have maximum flexibility. From the UK fly to Geneva, then our transfer service will take you to Chamonix. Full details available on request, but with climate change and variable ice conditions, you are best advised to try and keep it flexible rather than be tied down by a lowere priced fixed itinary.
These ice climbing "courses"are suitable for beginneres to advanced climbers and you should feel free to conatct us for any dates you wish. We have in the past advertised fixed dates however over teh years peope are finding taht its best if teh jsut contat us wityh their specific dates and we will then customise everything else to suit your dates... it works, its flexible and we do our best to give you great climbing on the best ice!

Private guiding price from £225.00 per day. Maxmum Guiding Ratio 1:2. Accomodation and feeding not included, although this can be arranged for you should you wish. If you are an individual or a lager group please email direct for price reviews.
