Introductory Off-Piste and Ski-Mountaineering 2010
This introductory course will teach you how to travel safely in the mountains using ski mountaineering equipment. It's located in the Chamonix valley and surrounding area such as the Aiguilles Rouges which provide fantastic off piste ski terrain. The itinerary is as follows: Previous evening: Meet at course base ( Chamonix or Arolla or Zermatt) for an initial welcome brief and equipment hire at around 6.00pm. Day 1 & 2 off piste ski skills and technique,use of equipment avalanche awarness and snowpack stability, tranceivers and search and rescue skills. Days 3, 4 & 5 continues with instruction and ski tour day trips.

To maintain flexibility which allow us to seek out the best snow conditions , accommodation and any mountain hut nights are not included. It's a "pay as you use" the facilities holiday. Mountain uplifts/ski passes are also not included.Based from Chamonix, Mont Blanc.
