Winter Walking Weekend
Meeting on a Friday evening for a short welcome brief and equipment review, we meet again on the Saturday morning to spend the day covering basic skills for winter walking. On the Saturday we cover self arrest and equipment and touch on snow pack awareness and navigation, during our hill walk. On the Sunday we take a full day’s walk, where we expand on the skills and you practice navigation and route choice nad teh use of a confidence rope. Snow pack instability, route planning, route choice and safety awareness is an important part of this fun filled course.

Courses available every weekend from 2 November 2007 until Spring 2008 and through out the summer. We also run these courses from several quality hotels and bunk houses throughout Scotland.
