Island Peak
This tekking peak is an excellent adventure for those wanting to try Himalayan climbing for the first time. There are several mountains in Nepal known as trekking peaks and Island Peak is one of the classics.
You can attempt the mountain along with our Ama Dablam expedition team who are this year climbing Ama Dablam first, to acclimatise for the Ama Dablam climb. Ama Dablam is of course much more technical, but come and join us for the first part of the expedition, enjoy the trek through the heart of the Khumbu, climb Island peak with us and our Sherpas, visit Ama Dablam base camp for a day or two , experience life at an expedition Base Camp and then our experienced Sherpas will take you back to the trails and via Namche Bazzar and back to Lukla airport where a flight returns you to our hotel in Kathmandu.
