This year we are combining our Ama Dablam expedition with an ascent of Island Peak. By doing it this way it does mean that you have a much better and more interesting way to acclimatise and you get to climb two Himalayan peaks in one trip.
Cho Oyu is the worlds sixth highest mountain and is situated in Tibet at an altitude of 8201 metres. Sandy has guided and summited this mountain with clients. This expedition always runs post monsoon.
Shishapagme is situated in Tibet at an altitude of 8012 metres. It is a good summit to climb for a first 8000 metre peak. This expedition duration is 40 days and will commence mid april 2008 or mid Sept 2008.
