Team Ascent Courses
Here at team ascent we offer a range of courses. Soon Sandy will be guiding in Nepal for the month of October but we still have guides and instuructors working in Chamonix. The Lakes and Scotland. Soon Scottish winter will be upon us and we are now taking bookings for the various courses, in the fall season we are asked to do rock climbing, scrambling and navigation days in preperation for exploring the mountains in winter and we provide many such training days. Please emial us if you are interested. In additiion to this our Ice climbing courses and prvate guiding based from Chamonix and La Grave are begining to book up. We offer a year round service!
Alpine Climbing and Greater Range courses operate throughout the year depending on local conditions. Please check details below and email us for further infrmation and up to date conditions.
Principal course dates for Scottish Winter commence in early January however if the snow comes early which it often does we will start early. Email us and now you can concult our blog for our dayily reports. We do try to include photographs which show the snow and climbing conditions. We do provide private guiding every day of the year apart from Christmas day. Accommodation and meals are not included in the course price unless stated otherwise. See our Booking sheet for how to make a booking. We are also running ice climbing from Chamonix and La Grave.. so if you want to climb in December the flights are really cheap to get Geneva, Lyon or Grenoble and conditions are usullay really good from the middle of December. Even if its last minute, email us and we should be able to take you climbing.

Team Ascent courses are based from Newtonmore , Scotland. Newtonmore is an interesting highland village based in the Cairngorm National Park with a large range of restaurants, hotels, guest houses and bed and breakfast accommodation available.
Largely based around the Scottish Highlands and the Lake District, these courses can be tailored to suit individual requirements.
These Swiss courses are based in Chamonix and include forays into the French and Italian Alps.
